“SouthEast 24-7” International Photo Marathon

SouthEast 24-7

10 pictures — 24 hours — 7 cities

SouthEast 24-7 means ten pictures on ten terms, which will be taken in seven southeast European cities within 24 hours.

What makes the city, where I live, /my/ city? What can be found here that is typical for the country and the region where I live? Is it urban or rural, rather quickly or slowly, green or grey?

On February 13 and 14, 2010 – from 11:00 to 23:00 – SouthEast 24-7 invites you to an international photo marathon, which will take place simultaneously in seven Southeast European cities. Participants can compete individually or in teams. All you need is a sharp eye, creativity, 24 hours time and a digital camera.

The ten terms will be announced on February 13, 2010 at 11:00 and then the signal to go is given — in seven cities at the same time. All participants have exactly 24 hours to make pictures in Prishtina corresponding to the terms and choose the 10 best of them – one photograph for each term.

To participate in Southeast 24-7, you can register before the deadline February 11, 2010 at:  or e-mail:

The most interesting, critical, funniest photos will be exhibited on March 13 in Prishtina, and the best picture per each word will be printed as a set of postcards. The best photographs from all seven cities per term will go to the international competition and will be shown in early April 2010 the final exhibition in Pécs, Hungary, as part of the “Pécs European Capital of Culture 2010”. The creators of best photos will be invited to Pécs to the opening of this exhibition.
