Ten images within 24 hours in seven cities – now are here!

On Saturday, 20 March 2010 at 20.00 Multimedia Center cordially
invites you to the presentation of the Photo Marathon project
SouthEast 24-7 at Dodona theater! This evening you can see the results
of the Photo Marathon SouthEast 24-7!

Despite wind and weather on 13 and 14 February 2010 many interested people from Prishtina turned within 24 hours the ten given terms into photos: Dream house; Attention; Utopia; City, Country, River; Tempo; Connection; “German” ?; Made in Kosovo.

The Photo Marathon took place simultaneously in seven cities of South East Europe: Banja Luka / Bosnia-Herzegovina, Sibiu /Romania, Osijek / Croatia, Pécs / Hungary, Pristina / Kosovo, Ruse / Bulgaria and Skopje / Macedonia.

From all the inputs from Prishtina a local jury, consisting of the photographers and art teacher Mehmet Beluli, Samir Karahoda and Afrim Spahiu, selected the best three pictures per term. These photos went to the international competition. The two photographers from Berlin Jan Brandes and Maziar Moradi selected the winning picture per each term from all seven cities. You can see the photos on the 20th March 2010 at 20.00 in theater Dodona, when Multimedia Center will show the winners.

SouthEast 24-7 is a joint project from the Robert Bosch cultural managers in Central and Southeastern Europe. It is supported by the Robert Bosch Foundation and the Goethe Institutes from the countries involved. In Prishtina, the project is also supported by Altavia Travel, Malev and Tribuna Shqiptare.
